Survey Fees
My Survey Fee is based on the amount of work needed to inspect the boat and produce the Survey Report.
Travelling in Lancashire, Cheshire, Merseyside and Cumbria is included.
The age and condition of the boat can affect the fee but a general guide can be:
Pre Purchase Condition Survey on Production Yachts Motor Sailers and Motor Yachts
£13 to £15 per foot length
Example £13 x30 foot = £390
Minimum £230
Insurance or Damage Survey on Yachts and Pre Purchase Surveys on Canal Boats
£9 to £11 per foot length
Example £11 x 30 foot length = £330
Minimum £200
Steel hull Thickness Survey or Fiberglass hull Osmosis Survey
£8 per foot Minimum £175
Boats with Multi Hulls
As above plus 50%
